PROJECT:
Artwork and Brand Development
From Concept to Brand
Joe Melberg was tapped to develop the branding, artwork and original labels for a line of pipe tobacco from Seattle Pipe Club.
For the style, he was asked to reference David Goines and Art Nouveau woodblock artists to capture the spirit of the Pacific Northwest. The art and branding was dialed in to create a distinct look and feel, easily identifiable and resonate with the niche pipe-smokers market.
The original three blends were a huge success and the line has since expanded to 22 blends and varieties.
Brand Activation Across Multiple Channels
This boutique brand has expanded over 10+ years and has seen strong support in its community. Cohesive artwork and branding across all channels has allowed Seattle Pipe Club to stand out in their market and tell a memorable story.
This brand and artwork has been interpreted across: tin labels, trade-show booths, posters, window stickers, tin inserts, website, product photography, wholesale photography, printed signs and banners, digital banner ads, animated ads, stickers, cards, and more.
