Put Your Audience
in the Spotlight

Spotlight Campaign
for SCORE Dallas

How putting their audience in the spotlight reinvigorated a local chapter of volunteer business mentors.

Challenge

SCORE Dallas experienced an external awareness problem and an internal volunteer motivation problem. Workshop attendance was down and so was audience engagement.

Results

Brought visibility to the good work of 50 SCORE mentors. Entrepreneur success stories published through email and social media created a bump in the business and entrepreneur community. Voice-of-the-customer data captured during interviews was used to improve services around workshops and mentoring. SCORE reported improved image, increased participation of the entrepreneur community, and increased volunteer engagement.

Highlights

  • Spotlighted entrepreneurs
  • Counselors became more active
  • Increased workshop attendance
  • Social media buzz
  • Community building

What We Did

Created “In The Spotlight” publicity campaign for SCORE Dallas chapter. Interviewed, wrote and published stories about entrepreneurs who received SCORE services. Collected voice of the customer feedback and performed brand makeover across social media channels. Replicated for SCORE East Bay chapter.

Interim VP-Marketing, Chair of Workshop Committee

“Greg Olson and Delightability were introduced to us by a Dallas SCORE member. Greg quickly assessed our situation and proposed a campaign that was designed to improve our image and increase engagement with Entrepreneurs and Volunteers. The results have exceeded our expectations.

Delightability added a very professional tone to our social networking presence. In their interviews with Entrepreneurs, Delightability also collected valuable feedback concerning our Workshops and Mentoring, helping us broaden our range of in-depth services.
We would recommend Delightability to other SCORE chapters and organizations to improve their brand image and connection to the Entrepreneurs they serve.”
